The late Billy Hagan would have turned 86 today. After forming Stratagraph Inc., one of the largest mud logging companies in the world, in 1961, Hagan set his sights on auto racing and drove in both the NASCAR Cup Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans. He would win the 1984 Cup title as a team owner with Terry Labonte behind the wheel, and fielded cars through the midway point of the 1984 season, mostly serving as owner for Labonte and Sterling Marlin.
