The late, great Dale Earnhardt would have been 67 years old today. Earnhardt’s story is well-known, but his legacy is incomparable within the world of motorsport. From the tributes honoring him throughout the 2001 season after his passing to Formula 1 star Daniel Ricciardo choosing the permanent number 3 in Earnhardt’s honor, the Intimidator left a mark on the world of racing unlike any driver before him, and a gap in the sport that may never be filled.
